Book Online Therapy for Seniors in New York

Online therapy with Malka Pill, LCSW — available throughout New York State.

If you're looking for a therapist for yourself — or for a parent — this is the page to start from. I work with seniors throughout New York State by secure video, and getting started is simpler than most people expect: a free 15-minute phone call, a first session scheduled at a time that works, and no travel, parking, or waiting rooms involved.

I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Cigna, and I book through Headway so you can see your cost before we ever meet. If technology is the worry, it doesn't need to be — I'll walk you through joining patiently, and family members are welcome to help set up the first session.

I've spent much of my career working face-to-face with older adults across New York City — in homes, facilities, and offices — and telehealth now lets me bring that same care to seniors anywhere in the state.

Want the full picture first? I keep a detailed page about how I work with older adults — retirement, grief, loneliness, health changes, and what sessions are actually like.

You might recognize some of this

  • Feeling lonely even when family checks in regularly
  • Grieving a spouse, friends, or the life you used to have
  • Anxiety about health, falling, or losing independence
  • Trouble adjusting to retirement or an empty house
  • Feeling like a burden, or like your feelings don't count

How we'd work on it together

Step one is a free 15-minute call — no forms, no pressure. We'll talk about what's going on and whether I'm the right fit, and I'll answer any questions about insurance or how video sessions work.

If we move forward, we meet weekly by video from wherever you're comfortable. Our work is unhurried: grief, meaning, connection, and whatever this chapter of life is bringing — all of it is welcome in the room.

Adult children arranging care for a parent are welcome to reach out directly. I'm happy to talk with you first about what you're noticing and how to raise the idea of therapy gently.

Ready when you are

The first step is a free 15-minute call. No forms, no pressure — just a conversation.
