Therapy for Anxiety & Depression

Online therapy with Malka Pill, LCSW — available throughout New York State.

Anxiety and depression rarely arrive one at a time. Anxiety keeps you up rehearsing the future; depression makes the mornings heavy. Together they can make life feel both exhausting and flat — wired and tired at once.

If that combination sounds familiar, you're not broken. You're dealing with two very common, very treatable patterns that feed each other.

You might recognize some of this

  • Worrying constantly but feeling too drained to act on any of it
  • Wanting to be around people and dreading it at the same time
  • Sleep that's either broken or never refreshing
  • Losing interest in things while your mind still races about them
  • Feeling guilty for struggling when 'nothing is really wrong'

How we'd work on it together

We start by untangling which feeling is driving which — because treating only one half of the pair rarely holds. Then we work on both, gently and practically.

For the anxiety side, we build tools to interrupt spirals and test catastrophic thoughts. For the depression side, we rebuild small moments of energy and meaning before asking for anything bigger.

I use CBT as a backbone, but the relationship matters as much as the method. You'll be heard first and coached second.
